There’s so much information coming in about the Olympics I will be making short updates for the more interesting stuff. This post shows an interesting coincidence (!) whereby the Olympic stadium is neatly positioned as the cap or eye of a pyramid on the 2012 Olympic Gold Medal.
In another astonishing and not-at-all contrived coincidence, the Olympic stadium features lighting which mimic the very same eye in the pyramid. See for yourself!

Starting from the top, we can see the gold medal placed over central London, using the Thames to orientate the medal so it fits.
Then, tracing the pyramid etching onto the map, we can see that upon zooming in the Olympic Stadium sits perfectly at the top.
The Panopticon-like lighting system underscores the intention to Illuminate us.
Quite what with is still a contrivance left-to-see.
But if they do plan some silly scary tactics; keep calm and carry on.

I would be interested to see what happens if you superimpose that pyramid on the medal over the Thames river that they are using in the arena for the opening ceremony. Does it point to a particular seating position for example, or highlight anything placed on the arena floor. Maybe it indicates where the attack might come from. Just a thought. As an addition to what I said before, take a look at where the five ring olympic design sits on the map. If you look at this as an unfinished pyramid, a funny thing happens. The capstone area corresponds to the position of the circular O2 dome. Another capstone, this time with the pyramid pointing in the opposite direction to the main one?
